KnitPro Punch Needle Set - Earthy Wood Punching is an embroidery technique that allows you to create decorative items with flat stitches or loops or a combination of them. The flat stitches will appear at the front of the work while punching, the loops at the back instead. Making stitches on both the front and back in the same project will create a unique result with different textures. The punch technique is great to decorate bags or cushion covers, for example. The complete KnitPro punch needle set includes the following items: 1 x wooden handle 4 x metal punch needles in 2mm, 3mm, 4mm and 5mm sizes 3 x metal needle attachments in 2mm, 3mm and 4mm sizes; the 5mm needle does not need an attachment and can be placed directly onto the handle 2 x threaders 1 x instruction manual With the screw-on the handle it is possible to adjust the length of the needle, and thus the length of the loops. With the different needles, you can work with different yarns. The 2mm needle is suitable for a lace-weight yarn (maximum 1.5mm needle size). The 3mm needle is perfect for fingering- and sport-weight yarns and the 4mm needle is for DK-weight yarns. With the largest needle, 5mm, you can use worsted- or bulky-weight yarns in your punching project.
